Hasbro was perhaps a little short on new ideas when they released
this Princess Leia. The only reason they could really justify
realizing another white-gowned Leia at this point in the line
was to call her "an all new likeness."
In
this likeness, Princess Leia is once again in her New Hope white
gown - this time all in molded plastic. This Leia is more conducive
to hard-core play, and her blaster is substantial if not filmically
accurate.
Still,
we cannot help wondering why the toy maker felt the need to
make this entry in the Leia line. This one left collectors asking,
"How many Princess Leias do we need?"
